Job summary

Decko Products LLC is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor for our Sandusky, OH facility. The role leads sanitation crew across two buildings, ensuring strict allergen control and adherence to GMP, SSOPs and HACCP/SQF standards.

You will plan nightly work from the production schedule, train staff, inspect lines and verify swab results before Quality inspections, while maintaining dry-clean procedures and safe chemical handling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sanitation experience in a food plant, with at least 1 year leading a crew.
• Hands-on knowledge of wet cleaning and dry cleaning in powder or dry blend operations.
• Working knowledge of allergen control, GMP, SSOPs, and HACCP/SQF.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign nightly work across two buildings from production, changeover, and master sanitation schedule.
• Lead, train, coach sanitation crew; work alongside them and assist when needed.
• Walk every room and inspect lines before release; correct and re-clean before Quality pre-operational inspection.
• Ensure allergen and gluten-free changeovers follow full procedures with documented swab results.
• Maintain dry-clean methods and control water usage in dry blend areas.
• Own chemical control including dilution, titration checks, labeling, storage, SDS and inventory.
