Job summary

Decko Products, LLC is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead and continually improve the facility’s sanitation program. You will ensure equipment, production areas, and related spaces are clean, sanitary, and ready for safe food production, while coordinating with FSQA, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to meet standards and regulatory requirements.

The role oversees sanitation personnel and third-party providers, maintains MSS and SSOPs, and drives continuous improvement in sanitation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, accountability, coaching, and team-development skills.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 117, and applicable OSHA standards.
• Experience supporting regulatory and SQF/GFSI audits.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually improve the facility’s sanitation program to meet sanitation and food safety standards.
• Establish and maintain sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and the MSS.
• Manage sanitation staff and third-party providers; ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with FSQA, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prepare for inspections and audits.
• Maintain sanitation records and documentation in compliance with procedures and regulations.
