Job summary

Frick’s Quality Meats in Washington, MO is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain clean production areas, sanitize equipment, and support food safety and regulatory compliance. You will follow PPE protocols, logging training, and collaborate with teammates.

Hours are night shift 10:00pm-6:00am. A High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred, and food manufacturing experience is advantageous. Base pay is $23.00 per hour. Email [e-mail] to apply.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Frick’s Quality Meats’ commitment to the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and sanitation.
• Identify and report quality issues immediately to department supervisor ensuring only top quality products are produced.
• Maintain awareness of and compliance with all USDA and other regulatory requirements.
• Consistently follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Properly use and maintain required PPE and comply with OSHA and other workplace safety regulations.
• Operate machinery safely and correctly as instructed.
• Maintain assigned positions and meet performance expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete mechanical disassembly and reassembly of production equipment
• Perform proper cleaning of all equipment and food contact surfaces
• Remove waste material from floors and drains
• Properly store all cleaning equipment, hoses, tools and sanitizing chemicals
• Work collaboratively with team members to support sanitation goals by following company policies and procedures.
• Practice cost awareness by using materials efficiently and minimizing waste.
• Communicate proactively with the Supervisor regarding issues that they might encounter
• Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to production and food safety.
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold Frick’s core values of integrity, transparency, teamwork, service, and quality.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high morale.
• Take ownership for individual job duties and performance.
