Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a hands-on plant operator to run sand and gravel production at Eagle Lake, Texas. You will monitor equipment, perform inspections, and assist with routine maintenance in a safety-conscious, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot plant equipment following established procedures.
• Possess strong safety awareness and communicate hazards or concerns.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance adjustments as needed.
• Communicate effectively, collaborate with team, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor production environment and be reliably available.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment to safely produce sand and gravel products.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and assist with basic maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor material flow, conveyors, screens and crushers to support efficient production.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and sustain reliable plant operations.
