Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts in Framingham, MA seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 40-hour, night shift staff position. The role offers an hourly wage of $30–$47 with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on eligibility.

You will administer respiratory therapy, monitor ventilator care, perform tests, and ensure accurate record-keeping under Medical Director supervision at MetroWest Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy program required.
• A minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a CRT or RRT
• It is strongly encouraged that CRT therapists advance to RRT within 2 years of employment.
• Maintains current licensure by the State of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintains current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications once obtained.
• New hires are required to obtain BLS prior to providing direct care to patients.
• Additional certifications as listed are required within 1 year of employment.
• Preferred neonatal & pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages all ventilator care, CPAP, weaning, and artificial airway care. Monitors setup changes and equipment.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, chest percussion and vibrations, postural drainage, incentive exercises, and ambulation exercises as indicated.
• Performs clinical diagnostic and pulmonary function tests, such as bedside spirometry and other tests.
• Assesses patient respiratory status, observes response to therapy, and evaluates therapy appropriateness.
• Maintains patient and departmental records; enters clinical data regarding therapy administered and its effect.
• Other related duties as required
