Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Conneaut, OH, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts in our acute care hospital. Key duties include mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy, airway clearance, patient monitoring, oxygen/humidity therapy, and performing special procedures such as CPR and bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical ventilation
• Medicated aerosol delivery
• Airway clearance therapy
• Patient monitoring
• Oxygen and humidity therapy
• Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
