Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a rehabilitation hospital night shift in Michigan. The position requires 1+ years of experience and a valid Michigan state license to practice.

Responsibilities include critical respiratory care in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and collaboration with the care team. ACLS/PALS and Epic EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
BLS certification required.
NBRC national certification required.
Michigan state RRT license required in hand prior to start.
ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing respiratory care in a rehabilitation hospital setting in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.
Night shift on a 3x12 hour schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Perform bronchodilator care, ventilator care, pulmonary hygiene therapy, and airway management.
Conduct tracheostomy changes, sleep disorder screening, and Bipap/Cpap therapy.
Perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs, blood gas analysis, TCOM monitoring, and overnight pulse oximetry.
Assist with discharge education and coordination for patients.
Develop patient-centered care plans in collaboration with physicians and care team.
