Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The position requires 1+ year of experience, Michigan licensure, and night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.

This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week, with a focus on bronchodilator care, ventilator support, and airway management within a rehab hospital setting. Epic EMR is used for documentation, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT not accepted.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required.
• Michigan state RRT license required in hand prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care through patient assessment and team collaboration.
• Perform bronchodilator care, ventilator care, and airway management.
• Conduct EKGs, blood gas analysis, and overnight pulse oximetry.
• Assist with discharge education and coordination for patients.
• Night shift: 3x12 hour shifts.
