Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System's UMMC Midtown Campus in Baltimore seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II (Registered). You will provide age-appropriate respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under protocol or LIP orders, including ventilator management and chest physiotherapy.

Requires an Associate's degree or approved certificate, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, and Maryland licensure; one year of RRT experience, BLS, and strong teamwork

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or approved certificate related to respiratory care.
• Registered with NBRC as RRT and Maryland licensure required.
• One year of RRT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned caseload and responds to emergent patient needs.
• Provides adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care per protocol or LIP order.
• Administers ventilation support and adjusts equipment per patient response.
• Documents care activity in electronic health records.
• Contributes to departmental quality and staff education initiatives.
