Candidates must hold a current RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A preferred background includes two years of acute care experience and an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree. The position is per diem and requires night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• BLS certification from the AHA or ARC upon hire.
• ACLS certification upon hire.
• PALS certification upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care.
• Occasionally lead the respiratory care section or department.
