Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Methodist Hospital location. You will evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, collaborate with nurses and clinical specialists, and advocate for patient care.

The role offers night shift differential, a sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 for eligible external candidates, relocation assistance up to $10,000, and a pathway for professional growth within IU Health.

Qualifications

• Requires Indiana license as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Requires graduation from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program.
• NBRC registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire date.
• Healthcare Provider Certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred per unit requirements.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information.
• Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders in collaboration with nurses and clinicians.
• Participate in bedside rounds and advocate for patient care.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality, compassionate patient outcomes.
