Job summary

Austincc is seeking a reliable Night Shift Robot Operator in Pittsburgh, PA. You will run robotic grinding cells, loading/unloading parts up to 50 lbs, monitor cycles, and inspect finished parts in a manufacturing environment.

Start on day shift for training, then transition to night shift. Training provided with potential for full-time employment after a 6-month contract-to-hire period. Health benefits available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable around machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to learn new equipment and processes.
• Able to work evening/night hours.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor robotic grinding machines during production.
• Load and unload metal parts into machines (up to 50 lbs).
• Watch machine operation and part quality during each cycle.
• Inspect finished parts for surface quality and defects.
• Follow safety rules, checklists, and work instructions.
• Handle simple machine resets or adjustments as trained.
• Record basic production notes and report issues.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
