Robot Operator – Night Shift (4:00 pm – 12:00 am)

About the Job

We operate industrial robots that grind and finish metal parts in a production environment. We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on operator to run robotic grinding cells during the night shift. This is a physical, detail‑oriented shop‑floor role. You do not need a college degree or prior robotics experience. If you are dependable, pay attention to detail, and want to learn how to work with modern industrial machines, we will train you.

What You’ll Do
  • Run and monitor robotic grinding machines during production
  • Load and unload metal parts into machines (parts up to 50 lbs)
  • Watch machine operation and part quality during each cycle
  • Inspect finished parts for surface quality and defects
  • Follow safety rules, checklists, and work instructions
  • Handle simple machine resets or adjustments as trained
  • Record basic production notes and report issues to supervisors or engineers
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Schedule

Night shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am

  • Start on day shift for training, then move to night shift once trained
  • On‑site, industrial shop environment
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
  • Comfortable working around machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Willing to learn new equipment and processes
  • Able to work evening/night hours
Experience (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience
  • CNC, metalworking, or industrial equipment exposure
  • Quality inspection or production line experience
  • Basic computer use (we will train on our systems)

No robotics or programming experience required.

Pay & Job Type
  • $23-28 per hour, depending on experience
  • Night shift role
  • 6-month contract-to-hire, with opportunity for full-time employment based on performance
