Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Women's Services. The role involves night shift coverage on a Level 1 nursery with LDRP rooms, and a 3x12 schedule with rotating holidays and weekends.

You’ll assess patients, plan and deliver care, document clinical decisions, and contribute to an interdisciplinary care plan. NC RN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS within six months; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months.
• One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify needs
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Document medical necessity accurately
• Develop and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan
• Complete timely QA assessments
