Formación

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• License to practice nursing in Indiana as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Must stay current with behavioral intervention training.
• Proficiency in computer skills and EMR usage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to serve as a patient advocate.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize and organize the daily care of patients.
• Make patient care assignments and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Document patients' physical and psychosocial status from admission to discharge.
• Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and communicate issues.
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital policies.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Complete medication supervision monitors and notes for staff.
• Document nursing notes and transfer forms.
• Educate patients and families on medications and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate agitated patients.
• Provide orientation and support to staff and unit.
• Ensure safety and infection control standards.
