Job summary

University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nurse Clinician for the Trauma ICU on the 7th floor of Tower 200. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care on three 12-hour night shifts per week, with occasional weekends and holidays.

ADN is required; Kentucky RN license with BLS is required; BSN and RN experience preferred. Responsibilities include implementing nursing care plans, mentoring CNAs, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• No experience required.
• BSN + AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF RN EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
• Active Kentucky RN license, TWP/Provisional license or compact RN license in good standing; BLS for Healthcare Providers valid for at least 6 months after employment date.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive, patient-centered care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of a nursing plan of care.
• Deliver direct patient care and ensure patient satisfaction; train supervisory Nursing Care Technicians; adhere to University policies and procedures and relevant regulations.
