Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Med Surg. The staff nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from birth through the lifecycle.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNLC, BLS, and the ability to work within hospital policies. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Work within organizational policies and promote professional growth and accountability.
