Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 32-hour, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift, every other weekend. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan, including diverse needs and languages.

Ideal candidates will have a BSN or plan to obtain one within four years, hold an active MA RN license, and possess telemetry experience. Strong assessment, communication, and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or ability to obtain BSN within 4 years of employment.
• Active MA RN license.
• Requires previous RN experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Successful completion of Standard Med test.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing in English; perform mathematical computations.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides care for patients from infant to elderly, tailored to impairments and language needs, aligned with patient rights and hospital values.
• Assumes responsibility for quality of nursing care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling, and coordination of care.
• May delegate tasks to other staff with accountability for patient outcomes.
• Must have strong assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills; able to lift and move patients.
• Communicate effectively in English and document care clearly.
