Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surge Unit Nights (12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly). The surge unit specializes in cardiac/telemetry and medical-surgical care, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and cross-unit float when needed.

The RN will deliver patient- and family-centered care following the nursing process and professional standards. This role offers a $15,000 bonus eligibility and a student loan paydown program up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for surge unit patients using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with ER and inpatient units to ensure seamless care.
• Document care plans, monitor patient status, and respond to changes.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care and safety.
