Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit. The role oversees daily operations, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement, while providing direct patient care as needed.

This full-time night-shift position offers a competitive compensation rate of $36.75–$55.70 per hour, a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in the absence of Director/Nurse Manager.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope.
