Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a 17-bed short term skilled unit. The role supports daily operations, resident wellbeing, and safety with a compassionate, detail-oriented approach.

The position is full-time with a night shift from 11 pm to 7 am and requires every other weekend. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care and regulatory compliance across the community.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Previous management experience in healthcare/service-related field preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Knowledge of aging physiology and psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures resident safety in a 17-bed unit by assessing changes in condition and implementing interventions.
• Acts as liaison between residents, family, and care team to maintain communication.
• Completes reports and paperwork to meet regulatory standards.
• Assists in supervising Wellness Department and staff development.
