Job summary

Carthage Area Hospital in Carthage, NY seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for Nursing Administration on the night shift (7p-7a). You will oversee planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure continuity and high standards.

Requirements include NY RN licensure, ACLS, 4+ years in hospital nursing with supervisory experience; BSN preferred. Strong leadership and age-specific care knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in NY.
• BSN preferred.
• Education in nursing management preferred.
• Four years of progressive nursing experience in a hospital with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLS required.
• Pharmacology course or medications exam; knowledge of age-specific care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, organizes, directs and evaluates patient care each shift.
• Ensures quality of care aligns with hospital standards.
• Serves as professional role model for nursing staff.
• Assumes overall responsibility for nursing services on shift.
