This role supports nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and ensures safe, high-quality care across departments.

The ideal candidate holds NY RN licensure, 3+ years acute care RN experience, 1 year in leadership, and required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active New York RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience.
• Minimum 1 year in Charge Nurse or nursing leadership role.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required during orientation.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Moderate Sedation competency within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations during the night shift.
• Lead and support nursing staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Coordinate staffing based on patient acuity.
• Respond to clinical and administrative emergencies.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nurses.
• Promote collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
• Support staff education, competency development, and quality initiatives.
