Qualifications

• RN license and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in PA
• RN experience for at least one year for per diem status
• Active CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24-hour continuity of care with colleagues.
• Oversee medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee admission process of new or readmitted residents to the nursing care center, ensuring complete and timely assessment and documentation.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.
