Job summary

Southcoast Behavioral Health, part of Acadia Healthcare, is seeking a PT RN Supervisor for Nights, every other weekend, in Dartmouth, MA. Competitive hourly rates ($54.00-$61.00) based on experience. Offers comprehensive benefits including loan repayment programs and tuition reimbursement.

The role leads nursing operations, ensures adequate staffing, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' complex needs while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current registered nursing license in the state where the facility is located.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or leadership position strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and manages census and acuity; allocates nursing resources based on patient needs.
• Model strong customer service and prioritize patient safety.
• Enforce policies for delivery of patient and resident care.
• Ensure proper staffing for each unit and cover call-offs/vacations.
• Complete chart checks, seclusion/restraint logs, nursing assessments, MARs and reports.
• Perform shift rounds and random audits.
• Mentor and train staff; ensure orientation and competency.
• Support nursing leadership to maintain regulatory and standards compliance.
• Monitor and improve patient care processes and outcomes across units.
• Coordinate care with physicians and diagnostic information; ensure consultations occur.
