Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor for night shifts at its Fort Lauderdale area facility. The role requires Florida RN licensure, supervisory experience, and strong nursing assessment skills.

You will oversee psychiatric behavioral health care, ensure safe medication administration, and maintain comprehensive medical records while supporting a multidisciplinary team within a private 182-bed hospital.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to supervise and direct nursing care implementation.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in nursing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing care for psychiatric behavioral health patients.
• Provide night shift nursing leadership from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Administer medications and monitor side-effects.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical record documentation.
