Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a qualified nurse to provide direct nursing care and to supervise night-to-night nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will ensure adherence to state and federal standards and facility policies, maintaining the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff on the 11pm-7am shift (Friday–Sunday), applying your licensed RN or LPN credentials, CPR certification, and strong knowledge of aged care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Leadership and supervisory ability; able to work with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise night-to-night nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure adherence to Federal, State, local standards; facility policies; quality care.
