Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift (7p-7a) at Christiana Hospital in the 3C Medical Unit Stepdown, with weekend and holiday coverage as per department guidelines.

You will deliver holistic patient care, monitor patients, educate on medications and disease processes, and respond to emergencies. Expect 4-5 patient assignments and a collaborative, high-skill team environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN candidates must commit to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• Qualified applicants will have at least one year experience. Acute care or sub acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic patient care that is patient and family centered to ensure patient comfort and positive outcomes.
• Closely monitor patients and manage any emergencies that may arise.
• Assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment; work with telemetry monitoring and related care.
