Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany is a 79-bed long-term skilled care and transitional care facility in Brainerd, Minnesota. We are seeking a licensed RN to join our not-for-profit team and provide individualized nursing care across the full scope of practice.

The RN will collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team, coordinate care, and demonstrate competency in all stages of care delivery. Minnesota RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if applicable (NLC).
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse when applicable and supervise delegated tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
