Job summary

Encompass Health in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in a rehabilitation hospital setting. You will supervise care, lead patient assessments, and tailor care plans to support patients on their path to recovery.

You will build strong relationships with patients and families, collaborate across departments, and provide direct patient care as needed while supporting colleagues with complex needs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
