Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Regional Critical Care Float Pool on the Night shift. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for eligible candidates, with regional float duties in the ICU and Emergency Department.

The role offers a Clinical Ladder path with potential salary increases up to 20% based on experience, development, and advancement. Requires RN license, ADN, with BSN preferred, and 1+ year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred
• 1+ years acute care hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.
• Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance.
