Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Ocean Springs, MS. This full-time night shift (7PM–7AM) position involves professional nursing care to patients using the Nursing Process and adherence to ANA standards.

The RN must be NLN-certified, Mississippi-licensed, with BCLS and relevant ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience within 5 years. Reports to the Patient Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• All RNs must maintain BCLS certification; specialty areas require ACLS/PALS/TNCC where applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient clinical experience within past 5 years or evidence of refresher program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Maintain required certifications for specialty areas (ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
• Report to the Patient Care Manager and supervise LPNs, PCAs, and Unit Technicians.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and communicate effectively under pressure.
