Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a registered nurse to deliver nursing care within the unit, following hospital policies and standards of care. The role includes assessing patients, documenting responses to care plans, and instructing patients using established plans.

You will oversee ancillary personnel to ensure smooth, safe patient care. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds a Michigan RN license, and meets ACLS/NRP/PALS requirements aligned with unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• ACLS required within six months for RNs in Critical Care, Emergency, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, ICU and Step-Down; NRP for Labor and Delivery; PALS for Pediatrics; PALS and TNCC within one year for ED.

Responsibilities

• Assess each assigned patient, document and evaluate response to plan of care and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement the patient’s plan of care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
