Job summary

AdventHealth Lenexa City Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (PCU) unit on a PRN Night shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans while administering medications per physician orders. This role emphasizes patient education, teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
