The Medical University of South Carolina invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Women’s Services – Mom & Baby team on night shifts. You’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and gynecologic post-procedure patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, therapists and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide health education empowering patients and families.
• Prioritize patient safety while maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Lead and collaborate with nursing team to ensure outcomes.
• Participate in shared governance, peer review, and quality improvement.
