Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals in St Joseph, MI, is seeking an RN for the Post-Surgical Care Unit. The unit is 30 beds and emphasizes teamwork, learning, and high-quality patient outcomes.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family input, and discharge planning. A prerequisite is an RN license in Michigan with BLS and a competency-based orientation.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN).
• Competency-based orientation program completed.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Incorporate patient-family centered care in planning, implementing, and evaluating care and discharge.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and educate patients and families; document learning in health records.
