Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift on a fast-paced surgical unit. The 32-bed unit cares for orthopedics, neurosurgery, bariatric, plastics, colorectal, and oncologic patients, typically staying 2–4 days.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required — BSN or ADN.

Responsibilities

• Care for a wide variety of surgical patients (ortho, neurosurgery, bariatric, plastics, colorectal, and surgical oncology).
• Work in a fast-paced 32-bed unit with all private rooms.
• Opportunities for leadership training (charge nurse) and unit-based committees.
