Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking Registered Nurses to join a 32-bed post-surgical unit on a 12-hour night shift. You will care for diverse surgical patients and gain experience in prioritization and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN) is required.
• BLS certification required prior to hire (American Heart Association).
• Illinois Board of Nursing license required prior to hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a variety of surgical patients on a 32-bed unit (ortho, neurosurgery, bariatric, plastics, colorectal).
• Demonstrate prioritization and critical thinking on a fast-paced unit.
• Participate in leadership training (charge nurse) and unit-based committees.
