Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Unit Night shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role covers 7:00pm–7:30am with every other weekend, limited travel, and 36 hours per week.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, and communicate with the care team to ensure safe, timely interventions. Requires an Associate's degree or BSN and IL license, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care teams in person, by phone and in writing.
• Tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs identified in assessments.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations.
