Endeavor Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse on the Orthopedic Unit for night shifts at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role runs 7:00pm–7:30am with every-other weekend schedules and no required travel.

Qualified candidates have an Associate’s degree or BSN, Illinois nursing licensure, and AHA CPR certification. The position offers premium pay and career advancement opportunities within a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN.
Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and care teams in person, on the phone and in writing.
Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
Participates in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
