Job summary

Applingwood Post Acute in Cordova, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift (6pm-6am) to lead patient care and oversee nursing staff. You will assess health needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor progress, working closely with CNAs and supervisors to maintain quality care.

Requires RN license, CPR certification, and BSN preferred; experience in sub-acute settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of employment (compact where applicable).
• Current CPR certification.
• Sub-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and develop/implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor patient progress.
• Assist with staffing needs and ensure adequate CNAs per shift.
• Perform daily rounds to ensure nursing standards are met.
• Document and report incidents, grievances, and exposures.
• Create a warm, calm station environment and mentor CNAs.
