Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Resource Team/Float Pool in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is per diem, with night hours from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, and requires at least a Level 1 per diem commitment (48 hours over 6 weeks, including 24 weekend hours).

The position involves patient assessments, care coordination, and teaching, with a focus on safe, timely, and appropriate interventions in a community-based system of care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and collect health data with patient, family, and other health care providers.
• Coordinate patient care plan to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Individualize patient and family teaching based on assessment.
• Participate in evaluating nursing quality and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
