Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for a Resource Team/Float Pool in Arlington Heights, IL. Per diem Level 1 position with 7:00pm–7:30am hours and a requirement to commit at least 48 hours every 6 weeks (including 24 weekend hours).

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, and teaching, with emphasis on safety and timely interventions. Licensure in IL and AHA CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and teammates in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Instructs patients and families based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
