Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary care team in Georgia. The role focuses on high-quality, safe patient care aligned with the Wellstar Practice Models and shared governance framework.

The RN will advocate for patients and their families while adhering to applicable nursing standards and ethics. The position requires active Georgia RN licensure, dedication to evidence-based practice, and collaboration with nursing managers to ensure service

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia; complies with GA Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Evidence-based practice is expected and shared governance supported.
• Competency in nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide patient-centered care respectful of age, gender, disease, culture.
• Partner with patient and family using bedside reports, rounds and education.
• Practice using current clinical standards and quality metrics.
• Coordinate safe care through effective interdisciplinary communication and documentation.
• Support performance improvement and evidence-based practice through data and governance.
