Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows SSH medication policies and procedures.
• Develops, evaluates and updates individualized plan of care; documents outcomes.
• Initiates admission assessment within 8 hours of admission and documents education needs.
• Continues assessment and documents patient care as per nursing policies and disease processes.
• Documents all patient care per department policies and ensures accurate pain assessment and response.
• Communicates plan of day across shifts and facilitates discharge planning.
• Verifies patient identification with two identifiers prior to procedures and adheres to hand hygiene and universal precautions.
• Engages in downtime procedures and regulatory compliance, ensuring a safe environment.
• Obtains at least 5 contact hours per year for ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrates accountability and teamwork in collaboration with multiple disciplines.
