Job summary

Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg on the Night shift. The role focuses on compassionate care for critical patients and uses nursing process.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document care, ensure compliance with policies, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. GA RN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diploma, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Program. BSN preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within first week; ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of assigned patients using nursing process.
• Deliver care using evidence-based guidelines and available resources.
• Review diagnostic results and take appropriate action.
• Administer medications according to Health System policy.
• Document nursing assessments and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
