Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking Registered Nurses for the Ortho Med/Surg Unit (5N) to deliver comprehensive patient care on a 12-hour night shift. The unit treats surgical and ED-admitted patients, with self-scheduling for three 12-hour shifts per week (7pm–7am) and rotating weekends.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Requires current RN license, Idaho residency within 60 days for multistate licenses, and BLS certification at hire.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with team for ongoing assessment, planning and treatment.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Performs delegation, assessment, planning of care and teaching of the patient and family.
