Job summary

Graham County Hospital in Hill City, KS is seeking a Night Shift RN or LPN to provide direct patient care in a small 15-bed critical access hospital. Three 12-hour shifts per week with shift differentials for weeknights and weekend nights, plus optional ER weekend call with pay incentive.

Eligibility includes an active KS RN or LPN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS encouraged within one year. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for safe patient care and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive patient assignments and institute nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide excellent patient care in emergent and non-emergent situations for inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients.
• Delegate and supervise patient care as appropriate to other staff.
• Communicate with staff and providers regarding patient care and status changes.
• Work as part of a professional team to improve patient care experiences and outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA.

Graham County Hospital in Hill City, KS is a 15-bed critical access hospital with a mission statement of existing to assure readily available healthcare services for the residents of our area. Our purpose is to work with other community providers toward the prevention and treatment of diseases and injury, to maintain a healthy learning environment and to promote the health of a general community.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• $2.50/hour shift differential for weeknight and $4.50/hour for weekend night
• Optional ER weekend call coverage available with pay incentive to hold call

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Kansas
• BLS Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ACLS/PALS certification encouraged within one year of employment
