Mercy Hospital Springfield - Medical 6B is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for nights (1830 to 0700) on a pulmonary/respiratory care unit. The RN will provide care using the nursing process, coordinate with the team, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications include graduation from a state-approved nursing program, active RN licensure in the hiring state or compact, and current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or

• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure is required.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or equivalent certification must be maintained or obtained during probation.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates and coordinates patient care with other departments to promote recovery and safe outcomes.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information; adheres to Mercy Service Standards.
