Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training; ACLS as required by unit.
• 24 contact hours of continuing education during licensure period; 1 hour related to Ohio nurse practice code.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patients' plans of care and ensure effective shift-to-shift communication.
• Apply infection control principles and use appropriate clinical techniques.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in all aspects of care.
• Initiate emergency care when needed and support patient/family education.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct; follow chain of command.
